Who Am I?

Hello! I am Kunal, a budding Indian IT Engineer who also loves writing.

An Engineer who loves writing… Hmm… Where have I heard that before? (I am hardly unique, sadly…)

I remember that as a kid, I used to love thinking about fantasy worlds and creating unique stories in my head. I was definitely a daydreamer and if you asked anyone I know, they would tell you how I would scribble stuff on the last page of my notebooks. Ideas, thoughts and opinions used to consume my rough books and over time, I decided to perfect my English. The process is still ongoing.

It has been 5 years since and I am still scribbling my ideas, thoughts and opinions – albeit in a neater way. This blog is my way of spreading stories and stuff I find cool. I like positivity, creativity and perhaps a hint of inspiration too…… My aim is to write and learn, and write and learn some more! I want to be the very best, that no one ever was… (Umm… Whaddup Pokemon reference!!!)

I love reading, writing, watching a ton of TV Shows (that are good!) and Youtube videos and trying out new stuff. Ideally an introvert, I also like people. So feel free to contact me through my Facebook and Twitter handles.

Superheroes, mystery, suspense, fantasy, thriller, comedy and a dash of romance are my favourite genres in terms of movies, and if you suggest me some awesome, mind-boggling and twists-filled stories in any shape and form, be rest assured I will love you till the ends of the Earth! You can only imagine how much I revere Christopher Nolan because of this.

Some of my favourite books are Harry Potter, A Song of Ice and Fire and the Shiva Trilogy (although I love all sorts of books) and my favourite TV Shows are Arrow (season 3 sucks, man!), Suits, Friends, How I Met Your Mother, How To Get Away With Murder, Game of Thrones, Coupling (U.K. Version), Sherlock, The Walking Dead, 12 Monkeys and countless more. The list goes on and on.

So, welcome to Bleeding Mahogany! Enjoy your stay here!

P.S.: Please note that this is one of those pages that will lay forgotten in a dark, murky corner of my blog as time moves on. As a result of that, it may be severely outdated by the time you read this. My favourite shows, my tastes, my life… Everything might have changed since I wrote this. Keep that in mind. You’ve been warned.
